On July 21, 2022, the Management Board of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences gave a start to the Programme "YOUNG SCIENTISTS AND POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCHERS-2" (YSPDR-2), funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Rupublic of Bulgaria.

The specific goal of this programme is to attract, keep and develop highly qualified young scientists and post-doctoral researchers. This will lead to a sustainable re-creation of the scientific capacity at national level, to ensure the re-integration and realization of young and promising scientists, and to assure a favorable environment for the exchange of scientific ideas. Explicit priority is given to the funding of post-doctoral researchers who are not employed by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

Deadline for submitting applications at the Institute of Balkan Studies & Centre of Thracology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IBSCT-BAS): September 30, 2022.

Applications for both modules are submitted in paper and electronic form at the IBSCT-BAS.

Applications for post-doctoral fellowships shall be submitted in Bulgarian and English.
