On the 14th and the 15th of May 2019 the Centre of Thracology at the IBCT – BAS organised traditional Thracology Readings "ANCIENT THRACE AND THE THRACIANS: SACRAL AND PROFANE" decidated to Prof. Alexander Fol, Dr. habil.

The event is related to the date 15 May, when the Institute of Thracology started to work as an independent scientific unit of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, based on Order No. 185 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria dated 12.05.1972, headed by the founding director Prof. Alexander Fol, Dr. habil.

During the Thracology Readings, Prof. Valeria Fol delivered lectures about the Thracians to children from 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade from the Thomas Edison Private Primary School in Sofia, who received her book Tales for Children and Adults.
