On October 9, 2019 (Wednesday) at 17h00 the Institute of Balkan Studies and Centre of Thracology 'Prof. Alexandre Fol' at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IBSCT–BAS) will present the new edition of the Centre of Thracology THRACIA 24: ΕΠΟΠΤΕΙΑ. A COLLECTION COMMEMORATING THE 85TH ANNIVERSARY OF PROF. ALEXANDER FOL, DR. HABIL., SOFIA, 2019. The event will take placeat the Sofia History Museum, Retro Café Hall (2nd floor), located on Banski Square No. 1.

The volume is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of Prof. Alexander Fol, marked by the Readings on 'Ancient Thrace and Thracians: Spaces and Communications' on May 14 and 15, 2018. The edition includes texts of more than 45 scholars from the IBSCT–BAS, the Institute of Art Studies–BAS, the Institute of Solid State Physics 'Acad. G. Nadjakov'–BAS, Sofia University 'St. Kliment Ohridski', New Bulgarian University, the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies, SWU 'Neofit Rilski', St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, Shumen University 'Bishop Konstantin of Preslavski', the National History Museum, as well as regional history museums throughout country.
