The collective monograph 'Thessaloniki and the Bulgarians: history, memory, present' was presented during the 47th edition of the Sofia International Book Fair

IMG E0729On December 13, 2019 during the 47th edition of the Sofia International Book Fair the Institute of Balkan Studies & Centre of Thracology 'Prof. Alexander Fol' at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences oragnized presentation of the collective monograph 'Thessaloniki and the Bulgarians: history, memory, present' (compilers and editors: Yura Konstantinova, Nadia Danova and Yordan Zhelev, publisher: Institute of Balkan Studies and Centre of Thracology–BAS, 2019).

The monograph was officially presented by the Director of the Institute of Balkan Studies & Centre of Thracology Prof. Roumiana Preshlenova, by the reviewer Assoc. Prof. Dobrinka Parusheva, as well as by the project manager Assoc. Prof. Yura Konstantinova.

The event was met with great media interest and was attended by more than 100 people, including representatives of the academic community, descendants of expatriate families and readers, tempted by the past and present of this Aegean seaside city.
