On April 6, 2026 (Monday), at 12:00 at the Institute of Balkan Studies & Centre of Thracology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IBSCT-BAS), located in the city of Sofia, Moskovska Street No. 45, there will be a public Ph.D. thesis defense of Kaloyan Stoyanov Konstantinov on the topic "Iran and the Balkans – political, economic and cultural relations (1990-2021)" for acquiring the scientific and educational degree "Doctor" in professional field 2.2 History and Archaeology, doctoral program "Modern and Contemporary History".
