Modern and Contemporary History - 1 (one) place, full-time PhD student and 1 (one) place, part-time PhD student
Documentation, Archivistics, Paleography (including Historiography and Scientific Sources) - 1 (one) place, full-time PhD student

3.1. Sociology, Anthropology and Cultural Sciences

Theory and History of Culture - 1 (one) place, full-time PhD student

Към обявата са приложени формуляр и заявление, които следва да се попълнят от всеки кандидат.

Крайният срок за подаване на документи е 29 август (петък) 2025 г.

Humanities, professional field 2.2. History and Archaeology, scientific specialty "Modern and Contemporary History" (Foreign Missions in the Balkans, 18th-19th centuries), for the needs of the Department "The Balkans in the 15th through the 19th Century" - one place; Assistant Professor in the field of higher education 2. Humanities, professional field 2.2. History and Archaeology (Domestic political development and foreign policy of Modern Turkey), for the needs of the Contemporary Balkans Department - one place. Application deadline: 2 months from the promulgation in the State Gazette.

On September 1, 2025 (Monday), at 16:00 at the Institute of Balkan Studies & Centre of Thracology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IBSCT-BAS), located in the city of Sofia, Moskovska Street No. 45, there will be a public Ph.D. thesis defense of Semra Mustafa Ahmed for acquiring the scientific and educational degree "Doctor" in the field of higher education 2. Humanities, professional field 2.1. Philology, doctoral program "Balkan Literatures and Cultures". The dissertation topic is "Intercultural dialogues in the prose of contemporary Turkish women writers".

All scientific reviews and opinions of the members of the scientific jury and the dissertation abstract are available on the IBSCT website. A hard copy of the dissertation is disposable at the IBSCT-BAS office.
